Apperently they recovered some marijuana from his room. I kind of doubt contributed to 90% blockage of two of three valves of the coronary artery, though.

I guess that's debatable. One thing I will say is that if his father died of heart disease in his early 40's, it's surprising to think he did something that would exacerbate a potential life threatening condition.

I am surprised that he passed the spring training physical and that he didn't get more in depth tests done SINCE his dad died at the age of 43 from heart probs.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know much about how something like that would be detected or how they would test for it.

I know we had to do EKGs but that was about it for heart stuff. I would think that he would have a stress test done every once in a while......at least every other year if not yearly.
