A friend of mine is a total idiot. He had this girl that was getting pretty close to him. They were kind of cuddle buddies. Well, he developed feelings for her and told her. Well, she doesn't like that, but she wants to keep the arrangement they have going on. He was pissed, but got over it, and she's there right now. Apparently, they are right back to normal. I don't like seeing him hurt, and this bitch did that. Is a damn bed buddy really so damn important? She's just using him til something better rolls around!

Thanks B. That means a lot. And Taps, according to him, they aren't having sex. But he told me hadn't gotten anything in 2 weeks when he was trying to justify her because I told him exactly which head he was thinking with. So I don't buy it.

Yes, it's backwards from the norm. And I think he realizes it, but just doesn't care. He told me that I just don't understand, but he couldn't explain it then because she was there and would be spending the night. AGAIN. I would have given her the boot a long time ago.

do urself a favor and let him do what he wants and learn for himself, you can't save someone that doesn't want to be saved..he's a big boy, he can handle himself, just tell him if he gets hurt he's not allowed to bitch and moan to you at all

I've never been good at standing by and seeing my friends get hurt. However, I have learned over the years if they don't care about themselves, then it's not going to do me a bit of good to try to help them. It's just I've been used by guys, and I don't like seeing my friends used.
 
You can't protect people from themselves, no matter how much you want to. :(

Just don't keep pushing him on this or else you could lose a friendship. It's hard, but sometimes people have to get burned to realize how hot the flame is.

Sounds like they are using each other, for whatever reason. You are not going change his mind if he is set on doing something, just continue being a friend. Just don't become his dumping ground, every time that she hurts him.

I know it's his life, and that I should just let him live it. I am. But I will be the person he comes to when she screws him over again. You can't just make your feelings stop, so the longer he lets this crap go, the more likely that he will be hurt worse.

tell him he had feelings for her and as much as he denies them, he still has them and he cant supress them in a week. and that all the sex is doing is prolongiong the inevitable when she finds someone else. ask him if he will really be able to deal when she jumps bed. ask him if he ever dreams about him and her going out, laughing, walking together. ask him if he really thinks she see;s him as anything other than a piece of meat for her enjoyment

It honestly looks like he's in love and hopes that he can change her. He might not want to admit that's what he is trying to do, but he has all the symptoms. If that is the case you will not change his mind, no matter how obvious it is to everyone else. A lot of times when people try to convince others of something it will back fire. They will just dig their heels in and become more stubborn to what or who you are talking about.


Good luck, he has a good friend in you, but it does look like he is going to have to be hurt for him to open his eyes and see things clearly.
