Damn I hate time off!!!!

Man I am trying to take a break from the gym for a week, and I swear its the hardest thing I have ever done.


Any else feel like they have shunk after a week off, or is it all in my head?
 
Taking time off for me is tough too. I feel like the last year of training has gone to waist after about day 5.

But, when I do get back I usually feel great. My last couple deadlifting PRs were the day after a break

Its kinda like detox. Its no fun, but you gotta do it sometimes:)
 
A week is not that bad. . . . but two weeks for me is. I will lose weight and become flat if I take too much time off. You will be fine!! Just eat a lot and you will maintain your size.
 
Why take a week off? The week after a contest I like to take about 3-4 days off and do some light work (band work, tricep, rotator, erector, ham work).
