back in the days of if your plate ended with an odd number, you got gas on an odd numbered day. same with even, etc....vixensghost said:Yep.
True story: In the 70's when we had to wait in MEGA lines for gas,my dad caught a guy w/ a siphon taking gas from cars in the work parking lot.Someone gave my dad a bull whip as a gag gift years earlier. He kept the bull whip in his office as a joke. One night while he was smoking a cig in the parking lot,he saw a guy stealing gas from the parked cars. My dad, being the spunky Frenchman he was, grabbed his bull whip and took it across the guys ass. The guy stood up spitting gas and grabbing his ass as he ran off without his "free" gas.

Traffic is horrible sometimes with awful drivers around here.
Less drivers = good for me.

Hmmm. I smell a new tax opportunity for our injured, tax happy governor. I'll petition him to institute a $1 per gallon tax on all out of state cars filling up on our cheap NJ gas.covergrl80 said:no it needs to stay just like it is in NJ. this way I can drive 5 min over the bridge and get a full tank for about 25.00...LOL
