damn,,,busted amp

I have opened plenty of amps, and have an amp opener and the damn thing still busted. I was able to save the oil but it is getting agrivating. The amps are from pakistan (sp) sust. ( some people call them russian). The ink on the glass is yellow. I am wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with these. I know something is up because that amp tool usually makes clean breaks.

Never had any probs with any amps from anywhere. I would suggest opening the amp over a bowl just in case. To open mine, I just file around the edge of the amp then snap it with my thumb. What is an amp opener and what little old lady did you take it off?

I just use a regular file to score the neck before breaking it off sounds like you got some thick necked amps
