People are only patriotic after
1) After 9/11 and national disasters when it's hip
2) When we're winning wars or just starting them
3) When economy is good
Otherwise, it's open season to bitch and put down America as much as you want. Kinda like now. Many will agree with him. If he said that on 9/12 -- his own team would kick the shit out of him.

Word.
In the 60's people burned us flags. And society allowed it cuz they were sick of the war.
Patriotism is just feel-good selfish shit that goes in and out of "style". I almost never see 9/11 t-shirts, stickers, etc. anymore. Sure saw a lot of them in 2002 when it was oh so hip to be patriotic. Can't let the neighbors be more patriotic then you!!!

bwahahaha keeping up with the jones' encompasses all things. Here in houston I still those "terrorist hunting permit #9/11" on trucks often but thats about it.
