D-bol

I am 37 years old and I am 5'4" 185 I have been lifting for a long time and at my age its time to get the job done. I have d-bol and I am set up with a good plan with post theapy. 1st ? I know its a waste unless I have test with it but I want to try it first without. I plan on waiting after my cycle and start again with test,I know what you think Why! I want to see how my body reacts first. I have been taking somatropin with my first cycle,will this help me keep my cycle gains,or should I not be taking this at all.

The somatropin might help. And I think post cycle diet is key in keeping these gains. You will feel REALLY good on the dball. I think what can dictate how you keep your gains is what type of gains you make on this.

If you gain a ton of water weight because of a crappy diet plan, well expect to lose it all. But dball definitely increases nitrogen retention, so high protein, moderate fat and moderate to low carbs should be fine.

Amp up your training efforts and do everything right for PCT. It can work.

it is possible to keep gains on a dbol only cycle. but as was stated previously u will likely get some water weight and fat gain which u will lose the water during pct. but none of this was true muscle gain to begin with. u should get strong as an ox and hopefully u can use that along with a good diet to make some muscle gains. it probably wont be a whole lot.

run no more than 30-40mg ed for no longer than 4-6 weeks. have an AI on hand. what r u doing for pct?

Clomid, Nolvadex, Milk Thistle, I take 400mg of milkthistle already in my 1st week
 
I dont like it,, never have, never will... will probably catch a few flames on this but o well,,,,,,, 4-6 weeks of dbol you WILL feel great lifts WILL improve, you will retain water no mater what but thats not even bad in most cases.. heres why i dont like it.......................
I have seen this personally at least 10 times because dbol is cheap and easy to get,, dbol only cycle 5-6 weeks put on 10-15 lbs do a pct lose 8-9 lbs over the course of 2 months left with 2-3 lbs if that, of muscle.. that same 2-3 lbs could have been acomplished with more eating and better lifting natty in maybe 2-3 months but minus all the strain on your liver and heart....
If you really think about it, how much pure muscle mass can you gain in a month? even with a powerful roid like dbol, and you cant run it longer because its liver toxic...
As a jump start for a test cycle great idea,,, but alone bad idea...
In your case being older then myself, i would like to see you try a lower dose longer cycle like 250-500 mg test for 12 weeks kick start with the dbol for the first 4 weeks if you want...

bottom line especially at you age, {not an insult trust me my birth day is coming fast} 4-6 weeks of dbol only is not worth shutting yourself down for...

IMHO this is great advice, I wish someone would have thrown it to me before my first on that type of cycle. While on gains are huge but coming off the loss is huge also. I love the stuff but only as a kicker like you stated.

Thanks bro,, I will get some bros flaming me of that i am sure, and maybe they had good results from short dbol only cycles, but IMO they would be the exceptions, as a whole not worth it... But folks will do it 4 ever because its cheap, easy to come by, and you dont have to stick yourself....

I personally think most of the gains on dbol are the changes people make while taking it..... " i am on a cycle so ill eat better" and "I am on a cycle so im going to train harder" same thing can be done natty with same mindset only take longer... just my opinion.....
 
if going for a dbol only first cycle your strength gains will go through the roof. But to gain mass along with the strength your diet will be the biggest factor. And after your cycle, the biggest factor in keeping the gains from a dbol cycle will be DIET. So as long as your diet is spot on you should he happy with the results.

loss that is huge is water not muscle. they were never gains to begin with. u cant lose what u never had. this is all too common of a misperception of dbol.
