D B O L Only......

Welcome to my thread. Please tell me how stupid a Dbol only cycle is.... lol. I always love reading the boards that are over run w/ guys on a gram of test trying to rep 225 on bench :p

Only post if you are big, strong, and have been doing this longer than the interweb has been around. :heart:

I took russian's for 9 weeks. 30mg/day.

Deadlift: +90
Bench: +80
Squat: +100

Took 5 weeks off, got blood work done, and started Dbol and Halo together for 10 weeks.

Deadlift: +60
Bench: +45
Squat: +65

I lost NO strength. Loosing strength is a result of a bad training program, or a lack of a real plan in the gym.

My Oly numbers went through the roof as well, as did my numbers on all conjugates. My rack pull was 150 lb over my dead, which I fucking love.

I took precautionary messaures for kidney and liver functions. I ate very clean, slept a ton, and lifted hard on a good periodization plan. I also drank 2 gal's of water a day not including the water I drank in the gym... so who knows! Gym has no A/C.

Blood work after those two was perfect. Test was still over normal level 6 days after the cycle ended, and those compounds have very sort half lifes.

Then I just stayed on dbol @ 10mg/day for about 6 months... blood work was fine, again. Wow huh? We were too stupid back then; we didn't have the interweb to buy gear, so we had to rely on other monsters to teach us.
 
Good shit! finally!!!!!

I put a lot of my first timer guys on Dianabol - methandrostenolone - only at a moderate dose ( 25-40mg ed).

It really gives the new guys a chance to get their diets dialed in.

NOTHING Wrong with Oral Only's, especially Dianabol - methandrostenolone - the king of them!!

When you are just running halo NOT For PREworkout purposes,

what do you run it at? I kick it on 20, 40 for PreWO kickers.

I also cruise and CUT on dbol at low dose ( great for muscle retention !! )
 
I've been in this game for years and I have never had an issue with a d-bol only cycle.

If people want to know what a d-bol only cycle (with proper diet and training of course) will do to a persons body look at the Olympia winners in the 1970's. Guess what the hell they took.

Halo though is another story...
 
If this myth dies what next..... Squats don't make you fat?

Dbol and Halo are also a good 'fuck' combo. Happy from the dbol and angry at the same time from the halo. I love it.

2nd fav is TRen and Viagra... raging hard-on, 60 minutes to nut. I call it the Lady Killer Cycle

I also agree Dbol if done w/ a good diet is as effective as any other compound.
 
ive done almost 15 cycles now over the past 7 yrs, and the ONE dbol only cycle i did, was BY FAR the worst cycle ive EVER tried.
 
i know a buddy who gained like 15lbs on dbol only 25mgs ed for 6 weeks and kept like 11lbs with no pct , his strength went through the roof, and guess what he good CUT bro very little to none water retention no shit (well the water wasn't visible), he looked awesome, he was pretty much pumped 24/7 and his veins were sticking out all the time, his muscles were full all the time

For the year... unless a meet is 3 weeks or so out. I've got one on Nov 17th so cardio started this past week. I HATE it, but have 15lbs to loose by the 16th.
 
it is my favorite oral by far. i gain more strength on dbol than anthing else. though i get acne on my arms like a motherfuker. i dont break out like that on anything else at an dose. the adex usually cleans it up.

i have gone as long as a 12 weeker on dbol. that cycle i really concentrated on progressive overload and every week on every exercise i improved in total weight and or reps. i got liver function checked & everything was fine.
 
I tryed 2 dbol only cycles in the past, i got 10 pounds and i just keeped 2 pounds, for me is very hard to keep gains from a dbol only cycle, actually, i know a lot of guys with the same problem

i run the adex at .5mg ed for 7 days straight. i have read studies that at that dosage and length can reduce up to 80% of estrgoen. my ance seems to be a result of aromitization of test. but i have never ha any problems with gyno or any itchy or puffy nipples.
 
first AL420, I agree with you (DBALZ is something I buy in bulk like when I find a sale on toilet paper) ...but comparing your trianing, diet, & knowlwdge and commitment to that of the average first time D.BALL user is just well ...plain NOT comparable

for most first time users, orals are EZ to hop on and off of with no real commitment to training or diet or anything else for that matter (if you have to stick youself you TEND to do more to be prerpared, such as diet and commitment to lifting

...unlike YOU, their D.BALL intake IS THEIR PLAN!!!

...they eat everything in site so coincidentally they grow but they don't know shit about diet
...and much of the weight they gain is water
...and usually when the stop takin' the drug ...they stop lifting ...they lose the water (which they considered to be LBM gains) and whatever real LBM gains they had ...and before you know it they're back to square 1 ...most of the time even a bigger mess then when they started

I think the above is how the "D.BALL only is bad" myth originates from ...just too easy for a first time user to pop a pill without making the OTHER neccessary changes or commitments

long story short ...your results & regimine is not a comparison for most ...nevermind a "joe first time user/D.BOL only"

Great post bro - i agree. I think it is good for people to understand the real differences between those of us that already have the 'look' are simply trying harder. We lift, we eat, and we sleep as a priority. NOt b/c we are "on" a cycle, but because we live this shit.

If you aren;t eating and training in a proper fashion you are wasting your time. Dbol or not, gear or not, I don't care. Food is the BEST steroid ever. Period.

Edit- Guess not. What is the deal with that I have seen it a few times lately on here. It's kind of annoying actually.

Yes it does...usually..for example if I put in PCT it writes out Post Cycle Therapy. Which in this case if it does it will be in here 3 times therefore even more annoying :laugh2:

Hey Old Vet...what up w/ the Halo comment? Is it good, bad, or both? I have some but havent ever tried it. Is it worth a go?
 
I agree 100%! Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I paid my dues way before I jumped on. I had 18 3/4" arms prior to ever trying anything. I learned how to get results naturally, and I learned about the difference that eating throught the day made in my gains. It's not rocket science here guys.
1.)Train hard
2.)Eat well
3.)Get plenty of rest

Put those 3 steps into action on a consistent basis, and you won't recognize yourself in a year. Newbs and vets can both benefit from those words. It's easy to start coasting. I've been guilty myself.

Hey guys -

I'm not new but it has been awhile (since I've been active on this board AND since I've done a cycle. I've been living in, well....a "big" house).

I like this thread, especially since no one says "Its not a cycle w/o test." I hate that. Anyway, if doing a Dianabol - methandrostenolone - only cycle, what kind of PCT - post cycle therapy - would be suggested?


edit: Hey, It really DOES fill in the abbreviations! I like it!
 
So all of you guys that have done an oral only cycle, how much of the gains did you keep for say 2 months after? How much of those gains where muscle mass vs BF & water weight? Just curious!

Most guys use some nice music or porn but I can see that watching 60 Minutes might do it for some.

I kept 100% of the strength. Again, if you have a real plan (like one laid out by a ex CCCP Weightlifting Olympian :) ) then you don't loose anything.

To clarify - If I am trying to be the very strongest I can I will run D bol the weeks I am making PR's, but this is only 3 weks at a time max. Then I deload (lift less) for a few weeks. When i get back to PR weeks I am stronger than I was. This has WAY more to do w/ how I train then the drugs. Periodization is the best.

I have never had a problem with bloat with dbol or test in general for that matter. I try to stay fairly lean and not "bulk up". I would hate to guess at percentages so I will just say it was more muscle than water. I have kept 80+% of my gains (in the past). I keep almost all strength but I can definitely tell the difference when I switch compounds. Most recently I ran 6 weeks of dbol and then switched to 250mg of test and 60mg of var afterwards. The size stayed but I definitely slowed down on strength gains though I didn't lose any. Now I am "on" all the time so I keep everything, damn near.

Well i must admit i was one of those guy's that poped dbol and thought it was magic beans from jack......My gains went down the drain like the shitty food i ate went down the toilet. I finaly got serios and listened to these bro's
and found out what bodybuilding is,1st on my list is diet,and i'm fuckin OCD with it now. it's great to find out what your body is acually capable of.This board rocks !
