This is definately a personal opinion and from personal experience, I have found that Taking Creatine and Glutamine at lower dosages throughout the day seem to help with keeping optimal levels. Especially with creatine, If I load excessively to get the muscles saturated and then constantly feed my muscles throughout the day, I seem to have better pumps and more constant energy. I've never heard anything about "loading" glutamine, but I seem to get better effects if I take at least 2 grams of Glutamine 5-6 times a day. I take more right before and after a workout. Like I said in the beginning, it's just what I've experienced.
