Cycle Theory.....Am I on to something?

Something I've been thinking about....

Make every cycle you do a "cutting cycle"..... On bulking cycles you tend to gain muscle, fat and strength all in one big ordeal. Cutting cycles usually result in a gains in muscle, loss of fat, and moderate strength gains. Cutting cycle results are generally more retainable than bulking.

When you're off of your cutting cycle, make that time your clean bulking phase. For years I feel I've been doing things backwords.

I would bulk up on a cycle and then cut down using no assistance. But the problem with that is I would lose muscle on the dieting phase. I'm hoping taking this approach with take my physique to a new level.

Many people will say: Why not do something like 2 bulking cycles and then finish up with one cutting cycle....Answer - I like to keep my cycles to the minimum doses, and in order to do that I'd have to take a plethra of drugs...

Anyway, am I on to something or should I go back to my original approach? Either way, I'm going to be the guinea pig.

I think u can do it. It matters on your ambitions regarding use of As and how much you want to do. Bulking and then cutting is the way most people go but then again what is the most important thing that realy makes u grow ...in all aspects of BB" ....nutrition training, As, well the anwser to that is LEARNING WHAT WORKS FOR YOU..... if wha tu say is workin for you bro then you just anwsered your own question..... think about this, if you did 3 bulk cycles, then one cutting cycle, you could get to where you want to be alot faster then doing 4 cuting cycles, you may be lean, but your not going to be as big as you could be.
 
i always said cutting before bulking...everyone is different so see what works for you....cutting first cause if your bf% is too high then you hit 2-3 bulking cycles you bf% will be way up there..i do thing different...on my cutting cycles i still want to gain weight like 10-15pounds...i have done it before i hit a add amouint of anavar 60-80mgs for 8 weeks some fina primo ect....still gain weight...i always want to gain weight.....but your way could work...but i still think cutting first then bulking...but it could depend on the person..and tell me one thing...how the hell dose someone over bulk...this guy was at 5% bf cut after a bulking cycle he looked like shit...it looked like he stoped working out...what the hell is up with that...you know when you are getting too fat...i dont think he has a mirror at home and a weight scale...jackass
 
Interesting approach MC. The only potential problem I can think of is the weight you gain during your off cycles may be mostly fat since your endogenous hormones and overall metabolism are likely low. Maybe a better approach would just be to eat a moderate diet while on, so that you don't deposit too much fat. Sure your gains might be less, but they would probably still be better than a conventional cutting cycle.
 
i am doing a moderate cutting cycle....goals loose 5 pounds fat gain 15 muscle...only secong cycle and should meet those goals and come in at 210-215 6-8% fat at 5'10....I thikn moderate cutting is a good idea
 
My biggest problem with my bulking cycles has been this:

1st cycle: +42lb. (kept 27)
2nd cycle: +35lb. (kept 20)
3rd cycle: +25lb. (kept 15)

current cycle: +8lb.

With the exception of the cycle I'm on right now, they have all been pretty big bulk cycles, all having either Dbol or Anadrol in them along with other goodies. I did no cardio on them, put on lots of water, fat, muscle, and strength.

But my 4th cycle, which if you can get this is only 100mg of Test Prop every other day, is by far my most intriguing cycle. I knew I was going to grow on my first three cycles, the drugs wouldn't allow me to fail. Now that I'm on a very modest cycle, I've pin pointed what really works. I'm on medium cal, cardio 3 times a week. Exception is, I'm holding absolutely no water...

As soon as this cycle is through I'm going to bulk, with no drugs, but continue to do the cardio to keep fat to a minimum.

What makes me most excited about what is going on with me, is that after years of training and two years of doing cycles, I'm finally learning my body.

For all the newbies, my advice would be this (and by no means, do I feel like I know it all), take it slow on your cycles, this is a long process, enjoy the ride!!!
