Cycle - Lean vs. Fat

EFcopperfish

New member
I've seen a number of guys post that you shouldn't cycle unless you're lean. . . or "you should have been leaner before you started your cycle."
1. Is this true?
2. If true, how lean should you be before cycling?
3. What's the difference between cycling when lean vs. fat? Other than just being a gross fat ass?

Thanks for the info.

1: Depends. Do you want to look like a bigger fatass? Or, do you want to actuallly see muscle growth and development. Unless you want to look like a powerlifter, you should be somewhat lean.

2: At least 15%BF MAX! Ideal would de 10-13%BF You'll see great results, unless you have no foundation, train improperly, and diet sux.

3: Difference is how you will LOOK! Lets face the facts, aas is mainly used to create an impressive physique that's unatainable naturally, after you've hit your peak. Using gear and being fat will send your BP through the roof and you can end up putting on more fat because of the increased estrogen. You wont look or feel to good being a bigger fatass.

JMHO. Hope this helps.

Thanks. That helps. I was wondering if more fat = more estrogen = more fat and sides.

I'm currently 18% and preparing for a test cyp, ultra test, deca cycle. 250mg/200mg/200mg each per week. I'll think I'll try to get below 15% before starting. Did my first cycle in 10 years about 5 months ago. . . this will be my 2nd since my 10 year break.

Thanks again.

Well said ............ :coffee:

What if it were a simple test and/or winny type cycle?

Couldn't test and winny help, and not hurt the loss of fatty tissue?

Atleast with a clean diet? Keep muscle as fat is lost, on a restricted calorie plan?

Throw in some anti-e's, and he should be okay, no?

Just curious.

I should have redded you on that one thread where you attacked my links. If I see anymore stereotypes , you will be bombed...

I would consider the health risks of being over weight. You'll definately notice more changes at a lower bf. being heavy and juicing can put more strain on your body than being a bit leaner and juicing. Good luck with what ever you decide. If your looking for a body comp change, tren ace and test prop was incredible for me.

This is one area where I don't believe the same advice will equally apply to all. If you are 18% BF and haven't seriously trained, I would say get your diet in check and train naturally before using AAS. I have a lot of lifting history, and 5 weeks ago I was at 264 with 19% BF. I started cutting naturally, but I was losing LBM and strength. 3 weeks ago I started Anavar, Test Prop and EQ. Today I'm at 257 with 17% BF. I've added strength, LBM and lost almost 3" from my waist.

lol. oh no...Some ppl do want to be powerlifter diesel and most, not all, but most powerlifters I know arent very lean. Unless you're fkn Mariuz Pudzianowski, who's a complete freak of nature. It depends on what youre goals are. EFcopperfish is obviously concerned about BF.
