Cycle and Eating Question

Blkout said:

Nope, I have not dieted down at any point in time. I used to be so small that I never needed to or wanted to, I just wanted to be bigger and I'm still in that mindset at the moment. I'm still not as big as I want to be yet. I think when I reach around 275-280lbs, I will diet down and see what's left. A few years ago before I started lifting seriously, I know for fact my bodyfat was probably around 8-10% but then again, I really did not have any muscle either, all abs were showing clear though.:D

i see, that explains a couple of things, which you will understand once you do diet down to a very lean body

Explains what? That I want to be bigger? That's the only thing it explains.

beleave it or not we are in the same boat, i used to weight 135lb in high school, juneor year at a hight of 6'2.....yeah

used to be a competitive swimmer

at that point i started training and eating to gains weight, eventually gear found its way into my "daily nutrient intake" so for years i had mentallity of "BIGGER, BIGGER, BIGGER", then at one point i did end up dieting down (cant remember why or how i desided, but i did) and just liked the outcome, you end up looking bigger then you were initially even thought you dump many pounds.

but kicking all of the "junk food eating" habits was a bitch, cravings were really bad, so now when i bulk up i do it on clean foods that way its easier on me mentally when i diet back down

Believe it or not, I don't have a problem eating clean, I enjoy eating good food. I actually hate eating fast food but I know I have to to pick up the calories. The only thing I hate is cardio, I know for a fact I'm going to hate that......but then again who doesn't.

its much easier to eat clean when your stomach is full, once you start dieting, being hungry all the time and out of "gas" the rules change alot

Well, I'm sure your right about that which is why I don't plan on dieting down below 10-12% BF. I'm never going to compete, I only do this for me, dieting down below 10-12% would just be too damn hard for very little reward in my book. As long as I can see 4 abs or so, I'll be happy.

Size is far more important to me than being ripped to shreds, but everyone is different.
