I have been working out hard for the past couple of months. I am in good shape, just some lovehandles, and stuff. I recently started cutting bread out of my diet...i guess you can say i went on the atkens diet, but not really. I just wanted to know...if anyone knows if that H-O Farina is good carbs or bad. I think it is whole weat but i am not sure...if anyone knows please write back
Thanx!

If it is infact whole wheat, then it is a complex carb, so in terms of converting to fat it would be much better then other types of breads, especially white bread.

When I eat bread its always whole wheat, and usually never with dinner.

make sure the ingredients on the side of the bread don't say "enriched flour". enriched = filled with sugar.

if it doesn't say that, then you know it's whole wheat.

I'm allergic to wheat and any grain, as it causes me to breakou, so I stopped eating any bread products months ago. I've actually gained size since I've been replacing bread with good vegetables, dairy, and beef.

Exactly. Finding bread at a regular grocery store that doesn't use enriched flour is difficult. I get Pepperige Farm whole wheat or multi-grain. It's the only brand I've found that doesn't use it, but it aint cheap. It averages about $3 a loaf.
