Cutting Diet Is Too Low...why

Gcis40

New member
Guys I really need some help I am on my cycle now for 7 weeks and have been dieting pretty strick...I want to lower my bodyfat to about 7-6 % I am at about 10-12 right now...My cycle I am on is fina, winny, aratest, and EQ......I came up with what I thought was a awsome diet for cutting keeping my carbs low and my fats low with high protein but after I did all the figuring out this is what it looks like....

Meal 1: 9:30am...Nitro tech protein shake with water
cal-290...protien-40........carbs-6....fat-3

Meal 2: 12:30pm- one piece of whole wheat with 8oz turkey
cal.....330....protein-57........carbs-18........fat-3

Meal 3: 2:30pm-Protein bar (designer protein)
cal-250.....protein-30.......carbs-7......fat-5

Meal 4: 4:00pm-MR Protein shake with water
cal-190..........protein-25........carbs-18........fat-1.5

Meal 5: 6:00pm- one piece of whole wheat with on can of tuna
cal-290..........protein-42.5....carbs-19................fat-5.5

Meal 6: 8:00pm......High protein, low carb, and low fat

The total without dinner included is as follows
calories-1350.......protein-194.5...........carbs-69......fats-18

even though that dinner is not included why are my protein and calories low I know that my carbs and fats are good but even though that I am cutting I do need more calories and protien being on a cycle and I do cardio four times a week and lift six days a week, but what the fuck can I add that will give me more calories and protein but not a lot of fats and carbs...This is my cutting diet and I need some help....ANY IDEAS

My advice

Jack up the fat intake. It's too low. With reduced carbs, some more fat will not hurt you. Try a protein blend powder instead of straight whey, and lose the Nitro Tech- too expensive. Going for a few hours on only whey protein is not beneficial. Use the blend and some flax seed oil as well. Throw in some veggies as well. I would also increase your protein as well, you'll need it to preserve muscle and since you're cycling your protein turn over will be higher.

I'd say add some complex carbs for breakfast like oatmeal, and some healthy fats in a few other meals like: flax oil, flax seeds, mixed nuts, almonds, nut butters, salmon or steak, olives etc...

Try some rolled oats in the morning, maybe 1 cup or so. Throw in more healthy fats like unsalted peanuts or natural peanut butter, salmon, maybe a whole egg or two, flax seed oil (tastes like ass so I opt for the peanuts), etc. How much do you weigh? If you are over 200lbs, you should eat at least 3000kcal ED if you ask me.

i would throw a few servings of flax oil with meals 3 and 6 and then add some green veggies to 2 and 5....your meals are just too small.

When you guys say add some complex carbs or add some good fats...What are some foods that you guys have in mind///I diet fairyl good I never cehat and I do cardio 4 times a week with that I also jump rope once and do sprints and plyometircs for football.....So I am just wondering if you guys have any ideas about what foods I can eat that are good complex carbs and fats...I love peanut butter is that too high in fat I eat the natural stuff and dump the oil out of it so it's dry and I don't get all that fat....Just hit me up with some ideas thanks

If there is oil in it that doesn't sound like the natural stuff. There should not be hydrogenated fat listed as an ingredient. some good foods are, as I've already said:

1. rolled oats - get them plain with nothing added and maybe add some cinnamon of your own
2. brown rice - some fiber in there
3. veggies - carrots have a very high GI so don't stuf yourself only with carrots but it won't matter too much
4. beans - fiber and some good protein - I like kidney beans personally
5. salmon - omega 6's I believe mainly
6. peanuts - omega 3's, but maybe I have that mixed up can't remember
7. other nuts are good too.
8. flax seed oil
9. olive oil
10. protein powders - make sure they have like 2g or less of sugar only per serving

Hope that can get you started.
