Cutting & Dextrose?

Well started my cutting diet and wanted to know if I should still use Dextrose in my PWO. Also, I usually lift at nite, around 10 and go to bed around 2-3 a.m., doing cardio @ 10 or 2 each day.

If you think I still should use it, how many grams?

2.5 grams carbs per every 10 pounds of body weight.

if you weight 220 lbs: then use 55 grs Carbs: 27.5 dextrose and 27.5 Maltodextrin. USe the same quantity of Whey isolate (55 grs). Dilute in 1 liter water... Drink half of it inmediately after your workout, the other half over a period of 30 mins afterwards. 1 hour later, eat your meal.

Thanks, but the thought of that many carbs that late in the day scares me!!!! lol!!!
I am down to 174 and about 7-9% BF range and im probably only consuming that many carbs throughout an entire day. Any one else agree?

These carbs will do nothing to you, believe me... after your workout your muscles are literally sponges, and will soak up all the High GI carbs you are throwing. Remember this goe to your glycogen reserves, not your butt...

On the other hand, if you are uneasy (at 7% I'm sure you listen to your body), reduce the amount of carbs according to the size/intensity of the muscle group trained). I go full ration for back and legs... 50% for arms and about 75% for chest/delts.

lol thanks again for the reply, I like the idea of adjusting the amt depending upon the size of the muscle group Im working out that day.
