This may seem wierd but when i drank a lot of water i still got water retention, So i drank more and still. Then i dropped my carbs which made me miserable but the water went away. So in the end i added carbs back in and increased my intake of salt. That's right, salt, sea salt to be exact. Within a day most of my extra pufiness went away on the face and body. I don't know why, it may have to do with salt and potassium regulating intercellular fluid or whatever, but i definitely niticed a reduction in edema from increasing my intake if salt. Maybe drinking the gal of water daily caused me to flush out too many minerals?
