Can someone please give me some constructive advice on getting
stuff into the states. Have great contact in Europe, don't want to lose because of customs. Constructive advice only....please!

carbon paper bro, wrap the gear in carbon paper. If it gets x-rayed they won't be able to spot anything.

I would mail it back to the states using small boxes. Wrap your gear in carbon paper. Make sure you use USPS. Do not use USPS express delivery, that makes the package more likely to be searched by customs. Definitely do not use a courier service like UPS and FedEx. Their packages are routinely inspected by customs. I would not bring the gear back with you on your flight home. Many bros do this with no problems, but I don't think it's worth the risk if you get caught. If your gear gets caught by customs in the mail, you will most likely only get a seizure letter. If you get caught with gear in the airport, YOU ARE FUCKED!!

Your box should be no larger than "Half a shoebox."
