Customs Letter???WTF

Hey,guys and all lawers and ones who know.My friend got a letter in the mail today from Customs they stopped his package at JFK on the 10th of Oct.I know he should just let it go and not awnser the letter but what else should he do to stay clean?He's waiting for 3 more packages from overseas and has a large supply at home right now.I did tell him not to order any more to that address for awhile like a year or 2 but I don't know what else should he clean house before any more packages come or what?????

clean house and ignore it! If they come knocking at his door and wanna look around , let em! Itll look better. If they ask what he was ordering , play ignorant, you dont know. Also tell him to go erase all computer files like cookies and emails connected to him doing this stuff. I know they can still look at records but a good lawyer can claim that a person has snatched your mac id , CC info, and is grabbing packages before you get em. Deleting files will not hide them from law enforcement.

How big was this package?

If they come knocking at the door and want to look around, DO NOT LET THEM. Period, under any circumstances. If they show up with a search warrant, you have no choice in the matter anyway.

This type of stuff has been gone over a billion times before, BTW.

Bro, I'm not trying to be a dick, but Rick wrote Legal Muscle so this kind of incorrect advice would not be perpetuated. The only way to erase files and be sure at 100% they arent any longer available, is to burn the HD till there's nothing. Playing ignorant when there's 3 more packages will not help you.

The advice about "let it go and dont answer" is valid in Canada. But I wouldnt take the chance to give the same advice to my US friends. Get Legal Muscle, truly an asset.
