yes, its pointless, but it gives me something to do besides lurk!

the gym im currently going to blasts shit music fairly loud, like richard simmons style. so ive loaded up my ipod with tunes that keep the level of psychosis high. :evil:

im gonna go ahead and log it all to see what kind of patterns turn up. after a week or two, new stuff will be in red, reoccuring stuff will stay blaq.

I guess? They haven't put out anything since 05. Dixie Dave fronts Weedeater and plays in Hail! Hornet as well. All three are good bands if you are into that slow sludgy sound.

I was never a fan of that or shitty grindcore, which used to comprise many of the shitty acts in the local WI/IL scene.

Man, I haven't been to a metalfest in so long. I'm getting old.

There's a 5 or 6 part video series on the Relapse youtube channel on the making of Death Is This Communion. HOF is so fucking bad ass and that cd owns all the way through. Did you know he plays a 9 string guitar or that they ran all the vocals for DITC through a Marchall? Bad ass.
 
matt pike is very impressive. he's a natural born rocker. i saw his yearbook pic from junior high and i was like whoa, this guy looks like a roadie at 13.

i havent seen the video series but i was definitely check it out.
