Crum's 4 day diet vs. MR. X's

Gambler

New member
On a recent thread Crum suggested that a good 4 day CKD would be 3 days low carb's, high protein, low-med fat followed by 1 day high carb, mod-high protein, low-mod fat.

Mr. X's CKD journal suggests that protein be low-mod and fat be high.

I would like to hear from people who have tried both ways as to their results. I am a little confused!?!?!

I'm pretty sure I never said it was a 'CKD' diet.

And the FOODS you eat durning your normal CKD versus the modified version I was referring to are completely different.

I've always been a believe in good clean healthy food for the very BEST results, looks and health wise.

Foods like, Lean steak, green vegtables, oats,FISH,FISH,FISH, good quality protein powder, etc.

Now, if you were to do an keto-dieting program then HIGH HIGH fat and low-moderate protein and as close to zero on the carbs probably will work best.

The plan I was referring to isn't a 'keto', it's low carbs, mod HEALTHY fats, and HIGH HIGH protein.

ALL OF THIS coming from CLEAN foods.

Thanks for clarifing the points you made.

On your suggested program I am assuming that the high protein will prevent ketosis. Is that correct? Also, is it still helpful to have a high carb day and if so, how often?

Thanks!

One more think - I have been looking for your original detailed post of your suggested diet and can't find it. Can you post a link?
