Crum diet question

when crum says not to mix carbs and fat in the same meal, does this apply to veggies too?

can i not have veggies in the same meal if i have fat and protien in it?

I really can't see how brocolli, asparagas, green beans, etc. could make a real difference in blood sugar or insulin. I imagine that it is best to combine the veggies with meat. The fiber in the veggies will help you to eventually digest and shit that meat. If you have flax or something, I still think the veggies are ok. Remember that Crum's diet is not ketogenic. Gluconeogenesis from protein gives you probably half your energy (as blood glucose, which releases some insulin). Veggies really won't make a difference.

Eat away!

You can veggies at any time in any meal.

Also, when doing macronutrient or calorie calculations I don't even include veggies.
Eat as much as you want.
