Crohns Disease + Steroids?

HarryHarry

New member
Hey guys just wondering if anyone has experience with crohns disease and the use of steroids. Recently started a new treatment of an Infliximab every 8 weeks. Its a 4-5 hour drip.

Recently tried a small 4 week cycle of anavar only just to see how the body would react. Had some small pain that is not often there in the last week as the treatment wore off.

Just wondering how you think I should go about future steroid use and consulting my doctor?

You need to talk with your doctor before you introduce any type of drug to your body if you have a preexisting condition.

A friend of a friend has crohns and he is got pretty good genetics but he takes 10 mgs of dbol per day.he looks great and says it doesn't irritate his disease any.But im not advising you you to try it,just giving some input. It dont sound like much of a dose but it works.

Thanks for the input. Will consult my doctor and see what he thinks would be the safest way to go about it
let us know the outcome a good freind of mine has the same disease and was asking what he could use - he not interested in looking good but at 90lb he just wants another 10-15lb as spare weight for a buffer for when he has bad times

Since there is no known cure for Crohn's disease, treatment is focused on lessening the symptoms. Patients suffering from Crohn's disease will go through periods with no symptoms, followed by intense durations of symptoms. These symptomatic flare-ups can be lessened in frequency by controlling your lifestyle. Stopping smoking, eating a well-balanced diet and taking a good multivitamin will help to improve your overall health. Additionally, reducing stress will help to reduce the number of times you experience symptoms. Also those who have a good diet & exercise program dialed in will reduce the amount of stress, I think its a good idea to supplement with Dol at 10mgs this helps keep weight up and helps the digestive tract.
Other that a good multi vitamin, i would also suggest addition of ALA,Fish oil,CLA.
Good luck and best wishes

so d bol is a good b at 10mg a day ?

Never used dbol at such a low dose to keep weight but have have used tbol during a time when i struggled for 2 weeks while new medication took its time to kick in. Any reason you chose dbol over tbol, from reading alot of your posts your a big fan of dbol. That your only reason bro or any more info on why it would be good? thanks

From what i have talked to patients, alot of the seem to prefer it over anything else, because it helps to gain so weight and keep food intake more efficient, better than Tbol.

Going to revive this thread.
I am 27, had serious crohns since I was 10, always medicated. Been lifting since I was 16.
I have had two bad episodes in the last 3 year's. The first saw me lose 20k of muscle tissue in 3 weeks. I naturally rehabbed back to my usual 90kg mark at 5'11".
I then got sick less than 12 months ago, talked of removing my bowel, bag etc, I was.having none of that.
I then was put on Imfliximab to reduce immune function. I am still on this every 8 week's.plus Imuran and salafalk.
My specialist never said anything about probs with gear. I have run an 8 week test e and 6 week dbol front end. No issue, felt wonderful. Currently running deca, test e with dbol front end.
Steroids lower the immune system, so shoukdnt cause flare up.
I would be careful with liver toxicity from the combo of meds and don't run arimidex with Imuran as it caused injection site issues.

I have some indirect personal experience with it and its positive impact (virtual elimination --no pun intended) or IBS--but not sure how that translates to Chrohn's. If you want more info, PM me and I well point you in the direction of the guy it helped.

I sound like Kingk84 but im 27 had crohns since i was around 11. I have used Test cyp, dbol, and equipose. All have made me gain weight and strength. I usually felt find while on and when i came off i did well. With the prohormons i have used Epistrong which is no longer sold made me feel amazing. About to try helladrol. I say go for it. Im on Remicade now so excited to see how helladrol interacts with it. private message me if you have any other questions. Crohns is a bitch!
