Creatine while on AAS?

I have been using creatine monohydrate while on AAS but I just recently read a thread saying that AAS increases your ATP output and regeneration so much already that extra supplementation with creatine is pretty much a waste... any truth to this? I mean I know extra creatine probably won't 'hurt' me at all but I also don't want to be just throwing money down the drain either...

What are you on? I pretty much dont use creatine while on a cycle...I save it to use with my pct protocol.

totally agree.... I only use creatine for PCT and while I'm "off"

creatine is a waste of money imo

if your diet is right creatine wont make much of a difference

on cycle its just pointless

Yeah, taking it while on a cycle isn't gonna help much.... During PCT though? I think most will agree that it helps keep your strength up....

my last PCT was the first one in which I also ran creatine...and it made a big difference...it helped keep strength up and I managed to keep a good amount of my previous gains.... Purecee from AF is good stuff!

Word..... I totally agree..... I NEVER use to run Creatine in PCT cause of the water retention, but with Purecee, it's not an issue.....

Only creatine i've been using. :)

I'm running test prop 400 mg and eq 500 per week - I'm always used prolab's creatine before... is Purecee from AF any better? Other than the fact that it's 'CEE'...?

I think creatine is overated..

compared to what? sure, if you're comparing it to AAS.... I used to think the same thing.... I hated the sides (bloating, cramping).... I tried Purecee and it seemed to do a nice job...put on some good weight that I've managed to keep on...minimal bloating / stomach discomfort... every little bit helps, ya know?

Same here ... Not unlike AAS, guys react differently to creatine or they buy shit stuff and wonder why it does not do anything ...

Post cycle i like to load on creatine , the water weight alone is good for the joints and muscles as we all know it aids in strength and that we do loose a certain % when coming off the sauce .

I'll run it for 3 to 4 weeks about 2/3 through PCT then switch over to other tricks before preparing for another go once i'm clean enough .

To each his own .. some guys blow up like a ballon on the stuff and others don't get results so it's one of those try and see things .

Compared to nothing at all. Dries me out no matter if i drink a gallon a day (i'm only 175-180).. As boxerjake said the only thing i do like about it is the rapid water gain when intially taking creatine that requires a loading phase. Other than that i persoanlly stay away from it.

I think PureCEE is better; It's Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL; read this:

https://www.anabolicfitness.net/shop/Chemuscle/product_info.php?id=130

It says:
"One of the main issues with creatine monohydrate is that in the gut it is metabolized into creatnine and several other less friendly metabolites. These compounds cause stomach bloating, extracellular water retention (subcutaneous bloating) and put strain on the kidneys and liver. By the time that creatine monohydrate enters the blood plasma, especially in those that are “non-responders” there is not a great percentage of pure creatine left.

The esterification of creatine, in this case creatine ethyl ester, leads to rapid uptake because of its greater lipid solubility which allows it to pass more freely into the blood stream. Esterification also protects it from being prematurely cleaved and thus broken down into the unhealthy and completely without benefit metabolites mentioned above."
