Creatine + Protein Together?

Interesting notion. So when would be the optimum time to consume either Creatine or Protein?
From what I can understand the 30 minutes immediately post- training is best for maximum Creatine utilisation, and Protein absorption.
Yet......they can't be taken together?
 
This is what I do -
Take your creatine dose 15 prior to finshing your workout - and protein shake right after.

45 min into your workout your body will have slightly elevated natural hormones like it does in your 2 hour post workout window, and the creatine will have 15 minutes in a competition free enviroment to get absobed, which is all it really needs. So by the time its absobed your workout will be over and you can down your shake.
 
Man I'm gonna look like some weird dude running out of the chest room to get my creatine fix.
Probably walk back in to complete my last sets with white powder all over my face.
Everyone's gonna be like: that dude is addicted!!

Good idea, I'll see if I can realisticaly implement it.
