Creatine loading?

Is it necessary to load creatine? I have 500g monohydrate that I'm going to experiment with, in addition to the glutamine and protein supplements I already take.

it's funny you asked that now cause i've been reading a lot about it to find out and basically what i've found out is that a loading phase of 5-6 days with 20-25g/day split over 4-5 equal servings raises muscle creatine levels 20%, without the loading phase it will still work but takes considerably longer to reach that level, more like 28 days. also it says that if you take it with some carbs you can increase your creatine uptake, i've always taken it with ultra fuel which has 400 calories, 100g/carbs/serving and i've gotten some good results each time i've used creatine.
 
When i first started creatine i loaded it @ 20 grams a day for 4 days split up 4 times throughout the day, and it worked well for me..i'm the only person that i have ever talked with that put on 12 pounds in their first week of taking creatine....If u do decide to load it tho, make sure u increase ur water intake.
