Creatine/keto?

mort

New member
I'm comming off an AS mass cycle, and shortly after segway into a CKD program, in addition to a creatine/glutamine/BCAA cycle. But as I'm not very knowlegeable about biochemistry, I have concern about CKD diet and creatine etc... Any takers on this post?

Thanks,

Mort

LOL, that killed me. :FRlol: :FRlol: :FRlol:

But, on a serious note: Creatine should be used every meal of the carb-up. It can also be used during the week of Ketosis, while it will not be shuttled into the muscle via insulin transport, it will be somewhat uptaken by the intestinal walls. Therefore, you will get some of the creatine in your system even without carbs. Look at it this way: it's better to have some sort of lifting aid, then none at all, even small amount are better then nothing at all.

Damn Mr.X, you allways make the most intelligent comments. I'm glad you're around these boards!

Thanks,

Yeah, a study I read on this said that creatine without carbs is actually about 40% as effective as creatine WITH carbs, so it's still a decent boost.

(Work increase of 28% vs 11%)

So take yo' creatine.

duchaine is dead I hear, and did not follow any of his own principles that he selling. so many boards out there and every one contradicts the other about him.

I am thinking about taking 10g of creatine along with 2g of vitamin C postworkout.. would this be alright? What about creatine on non-training days?
