Creatine Causing Cramps???

Im on my first week after loading on creatine and Ive noticed that I get more cramps when i move my body in certain ways. My friend says thats because im dehydrated. Is it true that not drinking enough water in general causes cramps and for you to be more soar the next day after working out? Or is it the creatine? I dont think im dehydrated because I drink like 4 protein drinks a day and water frequently through the day so I piss like 8 times a day. Thanks for your input
 
its just from the creatine... btw how much are you taking? youre body cannot absorb more than 5g in a dose.... if youre taking more than 5g... cut the dose down a bit
 
you need to be drinking a lot of water when you take creatine you should be drinking a lot anyway but even more when on creatine.
 
Yup..............you should increase your water intake, that's most likely the problem (cramping is a usual side effect from creatine, and they usually recommend upping your H20 intake).
 
When I was loading, if I didn't take in enough water my stomach would start gurgling and gaseous emissions would periodically be released :D
 
Water

Am I suppose to drink a gallon of water a day on top of the cell-tech and whey protein i take every day. Doesnt the water used for mixing that stuff count for something
