Crazy workouts you have done...

b fold the truth

I remember doing some crazy GIANT sets in the gym a long time ago...lol

I remember THIS one..:)

Leg Day:

Squats: 1 set of 6-10...straight to
Leg Press: 1 set of 6-10...straight to
Hack Squats: 1 set of 6-10...straight to
Leg Exts: 1 set of 6-10...straight to
Leg Curls: 1 set of 6-10...straight to
Stair Stepper: 1 set of 3 minutes as intensely as I could go...

I would then lay in the floor...then crawl to my car and go home.

Wow, that's hardcore bfold.

One of hardest workouts I ever did was 4 sets of 20 reps on squat

225 x 20, 205 x 20, 195 x 20, and 185 x 20

Lower body training is much more intense than upper body intensity though, in my experience.

Form training on C&J for 2 hours. (power clean, hang power clean, hang clean then full clean)
it was only 40kgs, but everytime i messed up i had to do the drill again. once weight touched the floor, stood up, then reset. maybe a 30 sec drink break

only had two 5 min breaks to fill up my bottle. all this while the coach ate choc biscuits.

i havent worked with him since

this was a typical leg day when me and Adaus10 were gettting ready for our first bodybuilding show.

Quads - 10 trisets of
leg press - 20
hack squat - 20
leg ext - 50

we really wanted to burn the fat while we worked out. we really wanted to build the cuts and striations(sp)

Had a great back workout with a partner who wanted something different. We decided to do 100 pullups. As many sets as it takes to get to 100. SOme of you guys can probably rep those pullups out, but me, I can do about 12 good form at a time.

By the end we were doin sets of 3-5 reps. Man was I SORE!!

I'm a sucker for punishment, so I may try this again with other body parts. barbell curls? dips? calves? feel the burn already!!

Brian

yeah do calves....you'll be walking like you have a load in your pants for a week.....haha

i remember i did some crazy leg workout back in college once.....can't remember what it was, but I know that I couldn't touch my heel to the ground when I walked for a few days....very painful.....

Super-slow squats, we bet each other on who would puke first. each set was to failure with 185 5sec up 10secs down. I lasted to 4 sets passed out and puked on myself

There are too many to remember. . .

Seems like legs and back training always has me blacking out, losing vision/hearing, and barfing.

ass to floor squats

in power rack, with 185 to 225. i went down all the way to the bottom come up half way to parallel, then repeat. did three sets to failure, first set was 25 to 30 reps, last set i couldnt get more than 15. back wasnt sore, but my hamstrings and butt were really sore for five days afterwards. this might be deleterious to walking upright if done too often.

2 summers ago

day 1: bench, pushups, flies
day 2: curls

alternate every day, max out on bench each time without making progress. I did massive sets on pushups...like 10 sets of 20 reps or something rediculous like that. 8 sets of flies...who knows.

Weighed about 112 or so

no joke that was my routine...typed out and everything lol

High rep squats will do it.

You know that puking and dizzy feeling you get after squatting a lot? I can usually get that from just working on my biceps. I can go to the gym for 20mins and do non-stop curls. Pretty much pass out after that. Did it once or twice. :D

20rep squats in HS or 10sets of 10 , Basic training, 20sets on DE day with a SSB and 365-405, and road marches in basic on Agony and Misery in KY.

get your blood pressure, blood sugar levels checked out

I like to keep all my workouts a little nuts. If I know I can double 600, then I'll go to 605 and try to triple it. And I'll make bets with myself. I'll say "if I can't do this, then I have to go down to 455 for 2 sets to failure." Shit like that helps me keep my edge.

dude they are curls. maybe the easiest exercise in the world apart from kickbacks or wrist curls

Yea, but try it bro. With no rest for 20mins straight. Once you can't do a certain weight than lower it for a set, immidietely right after add on more weight. Keep doing it and see how you feel.

sore/tired, but not wanting to throw up or get dizzy.

if you do you have problems. its an isolation exercise.

you need a health check up

I notice that I can get this from any exercise if I fatigue it enough. Meaning if I go very high reps.
