Crazy Christmas Bloat!

Anyone else feeling that crazy Christmas bloat? I ate a lot on Christmas Eve and ate very well today, despite the candy and cookies all around me... but I also have a PMS bloat on top of it all! Damn, it sucks to be a woman sometimes!

On the upside, the extra carbs make your muscles look nice and round ;)

And doesn't it suck that it takes a week to undo the damage you did in one day?
 
I did pretty good this year (a first) but I would tell you to drink boatloads of water and suck down some dandelion root extract.

Right on... I've been reading up on that lately... you can get that at any health food store, right? I'd assume not a grocery store?
 
Ugh. Isn't that an awful feeling? For me it's like a big stone slowly winding its way down my intestines...it's just awful (and an excellent overeating deterrant). I try to keep my diet as liquid as possible the day after a feast (yesterday, in fact) and I'm learning to have a mini feast at every meal if it is a high carb/cheat day rather than having one big cheat meal that makes me suffer and ruins my metabolism for a day or so.
 
Dandelion root will help a ton...... as will going to do some cardio, a sit in a sauna, even a hot bath helps me sometimes. I guess anything that makes you sweat? :)

I am kinda bloated, but I have learned that any day I cheat bad, I need to REALLY REALLY make sure my water intake is high. If I keep water around 1 gallon, I don't bloat so badly!
 
I have to admit this week has been a rollercoaster for me on the diet thing and it freaks me out only after i eat. Monday sounds like my ideal start over day. I start my ECA then too. I have lost a few pounds since i started my new diet but im sure i set it back a bit since this holiday but i have to admit that this holiday has been a tad bit more healthier than all the rest i had one cookie and one piece of chocolate throughout this whole holiday. yeah for me usually i eat all i can. ;)

I go do an hour of cardio in an hour so hopefully that will help out. ;)
 
I didnt cheat yesterday at all. got lotsalooks from family.. but.owell

but Daisy is right water intake high helps out large on days i do not eat the way i should
 
I was pretty happy w/ my diet this weekend. The worst part was the airplane travel. I always get stomach aches from sitting on a plane for 1/2 a day.

I get hamstring and hip pains from long plane rides. :(
 
Not as big a problem as usual -- rode 1st class up & back. :)

Also I've been away from my chiropractor for 6 days, plus 2 plane rides, plus sleeping 4 nights in my 3 yr old nephew's bed and staying in the house because its like -15 F outside, I've been spending about 45 min stretching each nite.
