I was filtering 250 mls. of deca at 200mg/ml today. I poured the oil into the top of the Nalgene Vacuum unit, closed the lid, and started to pump the brake bleeder system up to 15Hg. Not even a quarter of the way through the process, cracks started to appear, and air bubbles started coming up from the bottom and I began to lose pressure fast. I took some scotch tape and tryed to suffocate the crack at the bottom but it only helped mildly and I had to constantly pump the pressure up to 20Hg just to counteract the loss of pressure in the reciever. I had to abort the filtering process halfway through for fear of busting the flask as it got worse throughout the process. I also have 250 ml of Test Cyp at 200mg/ml baked up and sitting in a glass pyrex flask that I plan on filtering tommorrow. The oil will be at room temp tommorrow and I will only pump to 10Hg max and see how it goes. Has this happened to anyone, and do you have suggestions on how to not have this happen again. Thanks alot for your time.
