Could they bottle natural test

ok i was watching some programme about people with narcolepsy and they have this defency of this thing that makes u stay awake. and they said that when they found a way to bottle this thing that when people took it there would be no side effects when taken by a person becuase the body makes it naturally.

so my question is if u could bottle natural test would it in theory have no side effects when administered. becuase synthetic test does have sides
