cottage cheese on a bodyopus

Too many carbs for the keto phase, even the full-fat variety. You could eat nonfat or lowfat cottage cheese during the carb-up phase, though.

what do ya think, anygood or no good?

I would say NO. It's about 14g carbs per serving, mostly from sugar. As a result, only one serving can throw you out of Ketosis. I think doing the BodyOpus, if you get into Ketosis on time, you should be able to cut out all the cravings for such foods.

Try adding some Udo's oil and heavy cream w/ some splendia.

hmm mine says it only has 3g of carbs per 1/2 cup?

Mine says a similar amount, but it's still too many. Remember, protein is already 58% glucogenic, and you're going for NO CARBS during the keto phase of BodyOpus.

youre kidding? i thought as long as you dont go over 20g a day of carbs, you'll be fine. i have been eating sausages (1g), eggs (1g), cheeses (0.5g), cheese sauce (3g), guacamole (2g) dressings (2g) and protein powders (2g). guess i better make time to read mr.x's manual tonight!

If you eat under 100 grams of carbs per day, technically, your body will be producing ketones to an extent. I haven't read Mr. X's manual, but my understanding of BodyOpus as the late Dan Duchaine laid it out, was that the keto phase was all-or-nothing, avoid carbs like the plague.

The carbs in cheese and sausage should be insignificant, though, given the high fat content.

No more then 20g a day, BUT no more then 5-6 g per meal, so cottage cheese is out.
