cortisone and positive test result

Will a cortisone shot give a positive test result? Can an athlete dispute that, if the shot was prescribed?

Cortisone is a catabolic steroid (corticosteroid to be exact), so it should have no bearing on a drug test whatsoever. It is actually something I would avoid though as it has a tendency to destroy whatever it comes into contact with. (which may be good to reduce inflammation, but not good for long term healing of the problem)
