'cornfed'

why do some people usually call other people cornfed? is it something to do with where they live? or their size?

if somebody calls a bigger person 'cornfed', what does corn have to do with anything? not like it packs a lot of cals or anything..

this has always bothered me

cornfed is a method used with cows and other animals, when someone says it it means they eat alot and are big....i think.
