Corned beef healthy?

Hi. I am trying to incorporate more meat into my diet and so, for convenience and price, I have decided on eating one can of corned beef per day( about 340g or 12 oz). Is corned beef lean meat or various parts of the cow ground together? Is it healthy if I take it everyday in the long run. Thanks.
 
I know it's LOADED with sodium! The sat fat is prob pretty high

There are better alternatives, IMO
 
Way too much sodium! You'll also probably gain wait from water retention from all that sodium if nothing else. If need be for convenience sake, switch to canned tuna (if you don't like tuna you can buy canned chicken). Dunno if you're on a keto diet, but if you are add some full fat mayo and celery to the tuna/chicken and you've got yourself a meal.
 
If I boil it in water to remove the sodium and then heat it to remove the fat will it be ok? What about the sodium nitrite are there any bad effects?
