hope this doesn't dive to the bottom of this page. Wantin to buy a cordless phone and there's tons to choose from. Don't want a piece of crap. A lot of them have different mhz ranges. What gives??? How do I choose a good one?

Motorola just came out with their home phone, its an awesome 2.4 gigaherz cordless that just rocks, plus you can expand it up ti 4 units. It blows all other phones out of the water and its only 99 bucks. Its awesome. The model is md481, they have them in circuit city and bestbuy. ok, karma me now.

avoid Panasonic phones... the phones themselves are nice, but the battery life sucks ass. If you've ever been on the phone with someone and heard a quick "beep-beep" every 30 seconds or so, it was a Panasonic.

I agree Panasonic sucks ass, I bought the best phone they had at Circuit City only to return it three times just for repairs on the same problem.

avoid sony phones like the freakin plague
i personally have a 2.5ghz Elite Panasonic phone and my cousin hhas the exact same phone
best phone I have ever had, had it for a year or two and NO problems, longest battery life I have had before, my cousin would likely agree

I have had no problems with my Panasonic Gigarange, I like it.

There are new 5.+ ghz phones now. I`m sure they`re a lot more money than the 2.4 phones but they`re supposed to be the best.
