I don't know in the US, but here in To Canada, cops & docs know nothing about gear.
Example
There is a cop at my gym and he was showing me his pink tai's and how he is taking 1/day. I laughed so hard at him. Then he told me he want to do something but not liver/kidney toxic. I almost fell off the press machine.
Anyway I tried telling him to take injectable instead of oral and he won't believe me.
As far as the docs, when I went to see one for a heart burn prescription repeat, he asked me if I was using roids to get lean. I told him I read about roids and most retain water so how would I use it for leaning out? He didn't have an answer.
I asked him if he can explain the aromatization process through fat cells. He mumbled something half true half bs. I asked him about fat containing the enzyme aromatase (spelling) and how men develop gyno at an older age..
All said and done, this doc knew about roids as much as a beginner on this board.
Very sad and these people are making statements how gear is unsafe. As RC says, it's the fact that they are driving gear underground without blood work, that's making gear unsafe.
