Cook with Olive Oil or Fat-free Spray?

DirtyIndian

Should I cook with Olive oil, which contains significant amount of fat (albeit, some good) or should I go with the non-fat cook spray? What do you guys use?

My olive oil is a spray, It says calories 0 so I can't imagine them adding up too fast, of course its probably for like a .2 second spray which is not likely.

I'm not much a cook though, the only time I use it is to coat the pan so the eggs don't stick.

I'll bump for you, since I clearly have no idea :)

I use the non-fat cook spray for daily cooking, like eggs, and other stuff I don't want sticking to the pan. Olive oil for bigger dishes that actually call for oil as a large amount.

I read that those nonfat sprays actually do have fat. To test the amount of fat in it, they make one small spray that comes up with not enough fat to qualify for a percentage. But if you spray a whole pan with it you are actually getting some fat.
