Consolidate threads: features you like/dislike

just so there aren't a million of different posts saying how they love the flags or hate the plat quick reply or whatever...

the only change that I find annoying enough for comment is:
it used to flag threads that you had posted on with a certain marker on the left there. if you had read it, it was that marker, but grey. if someone then posted to that thread, it would change to yellow or red based on how popular it was.
so you could see if there were updates to a thread that you had posted on and you could open it and see.

now though, regardless of what is going on in that thread - even if you were the last person to post (meaning that you read it and it should be grey), it just defaults to the yellow (or perhaps red, haven't seen a popular enough thread yet).

so it looks like you haven't read it.

I can't rule out that this is only the case if you are the last person to post to that thread - then it doesn't recognize that technically you have read it and it should be grey and you need to go in again before it is grey.

this is very important to me.
my krebs cycle won't function properly without it.

I was finally able to see sigs, but it was overwhelming. all those words, some of different fonts and colors. I felt like I was on LSD again.

I couldn't see sigs - but then I decided with this newfound glory here I'd go to the profile section and turn that shit on - on the old board it would just laugh and me and call me sissy, now it just was all subservient and now it works. go figure. bitch.

I'm not 100% pos - but it looks to me like there is caching going on.
so you click on a link and before the page would load and you would get it filling up your page.
now they cache it and send it all at once instead of streaming it.
that is what it looks like to me, but I ain't go no proof

not only does posting take me to the board I posted on, it doesn't take me back to the thread anymore. This I don't like.

Oh, and has anyone else noticed they have to double-click on buttons/links to get them to work? It's not consistent, but happens often enough to be annoying.

as for my first post up there - I figured it out.

it is when you are plat and use the quick reply feature.
it adds your post on and then sends you back to the board instead of that thread.
were you to be sent to the thread, then it would see that you were there and know that.
but instead you go to the board and it doesn't know you were there.
silly board.
