Congress just gave away another $48 Billion to fight AIDS

No, its not.

Private funding comes from places that can afford it. Public is coming from a place that can't.

Game. Set. Match. 75th
You are truly dense.

Taxes are paid based upon income with deductions here and there for various items. If we depended on people like you to fund things such as AIDS, very few would donate. The most popular causes would get money. The whims of the media coverage of certain problems would greatly sway what gets funding and what doesn't. It would be nice if research and development was not just completely done by the drug companies and more by university scientists, etc. That way, perhaps cures and preventative medicine would take precedence over only researching drug treatments. I'm not saying funding treatments is bad either. It would just be more balanced.

If we depended solely on private funds many valuable and life saving research would never be funded.

Look into how much money that supports hundreds if not thousands of causes comes from private funding.

Youre wrong.

That's the biggest problem with healthcare today. At least american healtcare.

And if my mom was as stupid as you then yes, I would be upset.

But hey, different standards I guess.
You are like arguing with a kindergarden brat. Truly, Devin is already smarter than you.

You are talking about less than 3% of the GDP spent on medical research presently. Do you know what this means in terms of YOUR paycheck, because, let's face it, that is all you care about -- almost NOTHING.

Medical research funding is approximately 30-40% public, 50-60% private for-profit and 10% philanthropic at the moment in America. You want it to be 100% philanthropic and for-profit. People would DIE so that you save your $5. Go see a movie with your money, asshole.

Oh, and LOL at you thinking private funding only comes from individuals.

My God, you are dense. Never did I say that. However, your making up falsehoods and cheap shots about my relationship with my son seem to be your only way of defending your reprehensible beliefs. Adress the stats, maybe?
