He's going to love you for the added business if you keep this nonsense up. ;) Sure, the 5th amendment will keep you from getting charged in the same court for the same crime... but an admission could be used in another court... such as Federal (or state if you were in Federal)... best thing to do is to keep your mouth shut afterward.... I'd probably delete this thread... quickly.

It's people like this who brag about beating the system, that gives the system a bad name. Sure, the system fucks up... but look how many fuck-ups go through it.

here are some things I think will "HELP" the system.

1. Pay Prosecutors more, encourage them to make sound decisions on the evidence.

2. The second part of #1 will be accomplished by not electing the DA or having him answer to the public outcry ... this will cut back on charging of innocent people, and toughen up on the prosecution of the criminal.

3. Make all detectives/police take a course WITH the prosecutors instructing each of them what the other does... perhaps a "switch day" would be in order to let each side know what the other one does and needs to do their job... this would cut back on the resentment between the sides AND the mistakes made such as handling of evidence, insufficient evidence or mistreatment of the accused.

These are just 3 things...

You know, Double Jeopardy doesn't work like you think it does. Just because you were charged with it once, doesn't mean you can't be charged with it again... or another crime... in another court... your admission alone is enough evidence to get a search warrent, or give probable cause of further criminal activity...

sure, you got off... and you did it... now do us all a favor and stop making a fool of yourself.

I ACQUIRED A FEW PAINTINGS FROM ONE OF MY FRIEND`S ART DEALERS.

ONE WAS A GEORGE HARVEY PAINTING,THE OTHER AN R.C WOOD BERRY.(BY THE WAY,GEORGE BUSH COLLECTS ALL OF GEORGE HARVEYS WORK)

WELL ANYWAY,TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT,THE GUY SENT ME THE WRONG PAINTINGS,I SENT HIM TWO BACK,WHICH WERE DIFFERENT THAN THE 2 HE GAVE ME.I THEN SEND HIM A CHECK IN TO COVER THE DIFFERENCE.TURNS OUT THAT ONE OF THE PAINTINGS WAS REPORTEDLY MISSING,SO I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEND IT BACK....I DID..................BUT I SENT A PRINT BACK AND KEPT THE REAL ONE!!!!!!!!!! ACCORDING TO MY LAWYER THERE WAS NOTHING WRITTEN IN THE AFFADAVIT FOR ME TO SEND THE REAL THING BACK..........SO I SENT A PRINT!!!!

So it sounds to me as if you didn't do anything wrong. Good thing, because if I drove across two states to find a guy, you'd get killed for something that was expensive. Fuckers are crazy nowadays.
