confused about arimidex

So I have read the sticky's and the info I can find on nolvadex and arimidex. I am using 300mg test cyp/week. I have arimidex and am using .5 mg twice/week as per my docs presciptions. This is my interpretation (although it may be wrong) that arimidex and nolvadex do the same thing but by different means. Do I also need to take nolvadex?

I do a-dex alone and have not had any problems over the years ... not in HRT or in a cycle.
