Concerns regarding Optimum Nutrition

Dear all,
I have recently read a post when a member of this forum mentioned the fact that he heard that ON's 100% Whey was not what it seemed to be, according to the label. He even mentioned that he actually tested some of it himself in a laboratory and received less-than-satisfactory results.

The deal is that now, I am particularly concerned regarding the quality of the ON 100% Whey protein that I ingest on a constant basis. I am considering switching to ProLabs or Syntrax Matrix 5.0.

I would like someone here to express their thoughts regarding the quality of ON's products, and possibly, try to explain more about the episode aforementioned.

Nonetheless, Planet Muscle has recently tested ON's 100% Whey and said that it was as the label claimed.

Yup. I wish the individual who posted the info regarding ON's quality would manifest, so that to help me and all ON users to understand what on earth is going on.

I think 10 years ago in a magazine I remember reading Optimum Nutrition was one of the worst brands out there. Then I heard they improved their quality to be almost 99% of the label claim. I use there Whey sometimes, so that would be bad news if it's really true.

I know what person you are talking about. And he never showed ANY proof about what he was talking about. I use ON protein everyday and couldnt be more satisfied with my results.

I love ON's Protein and basically all their products. I know that you know who I am referring to Pong, for you avatar is unforgivable. Karma to you guys :)

I haven't used ON's whey protein but I know a lot of the bros on here swear by it. You might want to give the Matrix 5.0 a try, though--I've been using it for the past 3 or 4 months and have been getting very good results. It's a blend of 3 different types of protein (whey, micellar casein, and egg albumin) and has a very sweet taste.

I heard about matrix 5.0. Its price is not that bad either.

Thanx for the tip!
