Conan Machines

Has anyone tried this machine? its from the UK called Conan. i saw it on the net and you can get it shipped over here. i think it looks awesome but looks can be deceiving. im thinking of getting a home gym but i want the best all around one. this one looks awesome

I had extensive conversations with them recently before deciding to purchase a Parabody instead. Actually the company is in Poland, but now have an American distributor. The basic drawback is that they use a roller system rather than linear bearings. As a mechanical engineer that threw up a huge red flag since I know from personal experience (my roller leg sled) that linear bearings are far superior.

If you decide you want one, they were selling for $1,250 on Ebay so don't pay any more than that.

Very innovative, but I wish they had used a better design.

That things a monster.

I can't comment on this exact machine but it has been my experience that separate machines always perform better than a "do it all" type machine.

If you want a cage, buy a cage. (Make sure that you get a decent width between front and back uprights).

If you want a lat pulldown / low row, but a dedicated machine.

For $1200 that machine looks pretty solid though. I bet shipping would be quite expensive.

this machine does look really solid and its not too big. I need something i could fit in my spare bedroom for the days i cant make it to the gym. and some days I just feel like working out at home. plus when i work out at home I can blast the music and I can take my shirt off if I like. dont have to wait in line for water or the bathroom and theres nobody staring at me!
