Computer gurus, I call upon your infinite knowledge.
I think my motherboard is fried. A few days ago my monitor began to flicker and randomly shut off. The monitor would then display a "no signal" message. So, I switched monitors, and got the same problem. Later, Windows displayed some kind of "video error" message and promptly shut down the computer. The next day, the computer would not boot. After trying to power on the computer, the fans started and the hard drive initiated but I heard no beeps, and there was no signal on the monitor. I bought a new video card, installed it properly and got ther same result when powering on (no signal to the monitor). Could it be the motherboard? I have four sticks of RAM so I doubt it could be a bad stick of RAM causing this. I haven't installed any new hardware or drivers recently that would cause this problem.
Thanks and karma for any replies
