Computer picture thing question

How can I make a pic smaller? I am an e-tard beyond the computer solitare special olympics, so help meeee. I save a pic, wanna use it as an avatar, they said it's too big. Waddoido?

I dunno. I have the same prob. I have a feeling there's nothing you can do.

open it with ms paint and use the sketch/skew feature (under the "Image" tab)

see where it says 100% for horizontal and vertical?

type a smaller number for both values (use the same value for both vertical and horizontal)

keep doing this until the image is small enough to be used for an avi then save it to your comp

clicking on "Attributes" (also found under the "Image" tab) will tell you how big the picture is

I saved it to my pictures, but when I try to make it the right size, it stays the right size but cuts a bunch of the pic off.

you need a program that you can change the actual size of the picture.... change it to 100x100 pixels, save it... and there you go....

olympus' camedia program was awesome for that.... but you can use photoelements or photoshop too.

Hoooray! I did it in adobe photoshop. I just went to pic size and decresed the pixels
