computer people....virus and worm quesiton...for windows2000

....alirte heres the situation...

my girlfriends computer has been acting funny so we did a virus check and it came back with about 14 infected files...however the program said that it could not clean them cuz they were un cleanable...

it gives me the options of deleting the files...however they are in the windowsnt

c:\winnt\system32\ directory

now some of the files are .bat
like msbt.bat omega.exe ntweb.dll and such...i can see the files thru windows explorer...can i delete these files or will it make it so the OS doesnt ruin....lemme know what ya guyss think on this one....KARMA for the HELP!

what do i do with em...or find emsymantec.com doesnt have the virus removal for that name...
