my printer software is fucked....
gives me some error saying " spooler service not installed/expired" some shit like that

1) WTF is a "spooler"?!
2) i tried to re-install the cd... no luck
3) how the fuck can i fix this... now?

i went to admin settings and tried to reset the spooler to auto... but then i get this.....

how old is your printer


if newer ish

you should be able to unplug the printer
delete it out of the printer selection page


then plug it back in (with the system on) XP will find it and do a auto install on it ...XP comes with allot of drivers in it

if there is not one ..it will go get one for you (make sure you are connected to the net

go to your add printer option and see if you can add it XP should do the same thing as stated before

Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start.

means there's another service that the spooler depends on that won't start. Look in event viewer/system log in Administrative tools
