I posted this in another thread, but got no help, so I figured I'd start one about the actual problem.

So I wake up this morning and my viewing screen is about half the normal size. It's centered but small. I run Vista if that helps.

how do i get my shit back the way it was?

Please help this little window is driving me nuts!

Unistall your video card drivers and reinstall.

Never heard of this actually, but sounds like somehow your driver got mucky mucked.

Before you go nuts with uninstalling crap, just right-click on a blank spot anywhere on the desktop. Pick "Properties" on the menu that pops up, and see if you get a "Settings" tab.

Ok so I did that. i went to graphics options and display settings. Thats the only one that was there. i clicked on aspect ratio. Full screen(no border).

Worked my screen is ful size again, but bigger. Looks kinda weird.

Anything I'm missing?

Thanks diggs btw. U good shit bro!

So my screen is now oversized. Have to move back and forth to see the whole thing.

Any advice for the PC illiterate?

right click on empty area of screen > choose personalize.
Go into 'display settings'

Move the resolution around until you find your desired resolution.

If this doesnt resolve, click your start button, right click on computer and choose manage.

Click on 'device manager' and see if you have naything yellow with exclamation point.

Still no good. The resolution only makes it to small or way too small. WTF did I do to this thing lastnight?

if this is a laptop then it has a preferred resolution for the screen size. if you don't use that you might not get a full screen
