Computer Help!

I get this windows update reminder on my toolbar to DL and install updates. Yesterday I DL and installed some updates to my computer. Now I can't get some sites to work, some images won't load, I can't connect to my spyware to update it either.

If you're running Windows XP, you can do a system restore back to the day before you made these changes. It will be located in your system tools

Or you can uninstall the latest update. Look in your c:\winnt folder and you'll find a string of files all with names like $xyzabc123$. Find the most recent of those, double click on it, and find the uninstall option. That will uninstall the last update. If you downloaded several updates on your last Windows Update session, you may have to separately uninstall all of the ones with the same date.

You may just need to adjust the security setting for your browser.

Is it c:\windows on your system then?
